Why use a wiki? Because they allow you to:

• Decentralize your work and allow your students to collaborate.
• Manage a group project.
• Post handouts.
• Set up a simple website in minutes.

• Plan an educational conference.
• Demo students' work.
• Provide a place for students to submit their work.
• Easily edit information.
• Track a group project.
Wiki Hints:
• Start small with just one class or a few students.
• Use the Sidebar for a Table of Contents to easily navigate through pages.
• Use the First Page to describe your Wiki, list links, display graphics or video.
• Create lots of pages so that many students can edit at the same time.
• Divide students into groups and create a page for each group.
• Create a page called Handouts.
• Encourage editing!
